For nearly half a century we’ve been at the heart of the global LPG supply chain.
We source, we ship and we distribute LPG where it’s needed most.
We operate one of the world’s largest and youngest VLGC fleets.
We invest in terminals, logistics and next generation vessels.
We connect global supply to local demand - reliably, efficiently and at scale.
We build the systems that make clean cooking possible, and modern energy accessible.
We are LPG.
We are Petredec.

Our Businesses
Petredec Global is a leading LPG shipping and sourcing company with the world’s third-largest and youngest VLGC fleet.
Petregaz is focused on the importation, storage and wholesale distribution of LPG across emerging markets in Africa and India.
Fortitude operates a fleet of modern, efficient handysize vessels that transport Ethane, Ethylene, LPG, Petrochemicals and Ammonia around the world.
Why LPG?
LPG is the obvious energy choice for many regions due its energy density, portability, affordability and scalability. As a cleaner-burning fuel, it helps reduce household air pollution that harms health, especially for women and children who spend the most time cooking.
LPG also saves time otherwise spent gathering firewood, supports faster cooking, and helps protect forests from deforestation. It also provides businesses with locally-stored, reliable energy powering economic development.
Sustainability
At Petredec, we don’t believe in setting sustainability targets for the sake of
appearances; our approach is grounded in pragmatism and accountability. When we
set goals, we fully intend to achieve them as quickly as possible.
We operate one of the youngest and most fuel-efficient fleets and have invested approximately $1.3 billion since 2020 in cleaner alternative fuel propulsion, energy-saving technologies, and the construction of new, highly fuel-efficient vessels.
